John Kander, the brilliant composer behind Chicago, Cabaret, The Scottsboro Boys, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and so many other Broadway gems, recently celebrated his 90th birthday. The festivities kicked off at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre, which is home to one of Kander's greatest musicals: Chicago. The original cast of the Chicago revival, including Joel Grey, Bebe Neuwirth, and Ann Reinking, along with the original Velma Kelly herself, Chita Rivera, all performed their favorite Kander and Ebb songs.
